The arisen supreme speech,

I revere with a joyful mind.
Tươi đẹp như hoa sen thơm ngát.

Samajjhiṭṭho racissāmi,
Being requested, I shall compose,
Được vị tể tướng tài giỏi

Dakkhena rājamantinā;
By a skillful royal minister;
Tên Santena yêu cầu, tôi sẽ biên soạn

Nāmena santena,
By a peaceful name,
Bộ Nīti mang lại lợi ích cho thế gian;

Nītiṃ lokahitāvahaṃ;
A nīti that brings benefit to the world;
Có trang sức (văn chương) và lời khuyên,

Sālaṅkāraṃ sopadesaṃ,
Adorned and full of advice,
Mà tôi gọi là Svarassati.

Nāmenāhaṃ svarassatiṃ.
Which I call Svarassatī.
Ta tên là Svarassatī.

Pekkhantvimaṃ nītiṃ santā,
May the wise constantly observe this nīti,
Mong các bậc hiền thiện, những người luôn thiện xảo trong ý nghĩa chân thật,

Mañjūsarukkhasannibhaṃ;
Resembling a mañjūsa tree;
Hãy xem bộ Nīti này,

Nānopadesasaṃpuṇṇaṃ,
Filled with various counsels,
Giống như cây Mañjūsa,

Sadatthakusalā sadā.
And skilled in the true meaning.
Đầy đủ nhiều lời khuyên.
