Methunaṃ dhammaṃ paṭisevanto tisso āpattiyo āpajjati.
One who engages in sexual intercourse commits three offenses.
Một Tỳ-khưu phạm hạnh dâm dục thì mắc ba lỗi.
Akkhāyite sarīre methunaṃ dhammaṃ paṭisevati, āpatti pārājikassa; yebhuyyena khāyite sarīre methunaṃ dhammaṃ paṭisevati, āpatti thullaccayassa; vaṭṭakate* mukhe acchupantaṃ aṅgajātaṃ paveseti, āpatti dukkaṭassa – methunaṃ dhammaṃ paṭisevanto imā tisso āpattiyo āpajjati.
If one engages in sexual intercourse with a body that has not been eaten (by animals), one commits a pārājika offense; if one engages in sexual intercourse with a body that has been mostly eaten, one commits a thullaccaya offense; if one inserts the male organ into the mouth, which is rounded, without touching it, one commits a dukkaṭa offense — one who engages in sexual intercourse commits these three offenses.

Pañcamāsakaṃ vā atirekapañcamāsakaṃ vā agghanakaṃ adinnaṃ theyyasaṅkhātaṃ ādiyati, āpatti pārājikassa; atirekamāsakaṃ vā ūnapañcamāsakaṃ vā agghanakaṃ adinnaṃ theyyasaṅkhātaṃ ādiyati, āpatti thullaccayassa; māsakaṃ vā ūnamāsakaṃ vā agghanakaṃ adinnaṃ theyyasaṅkhātaṃ ādiyati, āpatti dukkaṭassa – adinnaṃ ādiyanto imā tisso āpattiyo āpajjati.
If one takes what is not given, worth five māsa or more than five māsa, as a theft, one commits a pārājika offense; if one takes what is not given, worth more than one māsa but less than five māsa, as a theft, one commits a thullaccaya offense; if one takes what is not given, worth one māsa or less than one māsa, as a theft, one commits a dukkaṭa offense — one who takes what is not given commits these three offenses.

Manussaṃ odissa opātaṃ khaṇati ‘‘papatitvā marissatī’’ti, āpatti dukkaṭassa; papatite dukkhā vedanā uppajjati, āpatti thullaccayassa; marati, āpatti pārājikassa – sañcicca manussaviggahaṃ jīvitā voropento imā tisso āpattiyo āpajjati.
If one digs a pit intending for a person, thinking, “They will fall and die,” one commits a dukkaṭa offense; if, having fallen, painful sensations arise, one commits a thullaccaya offense; if they die, one commits a pārājika offense — one who intentionally deprives a human being of life commits these three offenses.

One who claims a non-existent, unreal superhuman state commits three offenses.
Một Tỳ-khưu khoe khoang pháp thượng nhân không có, không thật thì mắc ba lỗi.
Pāpiccho icchāpakato asantaṃ abhūtaṃ uttarimanussadhammaṃ ullapati, āpatti pārājikassa; ‘‘yo te vihāre vasati, so bhikkhu arahā’’ti bhaṇati, paṭivijānantassa āpatti thullaccayassa; na paṭivijānantassa āpatti dukkaṭassa – asantaṃ abhūtaṃ uttarimanussadhammaṃ ullapanto imā tisso āpattiyo āpajjati.
If, having evil desires and overwhelmed by ambition, one claims a non-existent, unreal superhuman state, one commits a pārājika offense; if one says, "The bhikkhu who lives in your dwelling is an arahant," and the listener understands it, one commits a thullaccaya offense; if the listener does not understand it, one commits a dukkaṭa offense — one who claims a non-existent, unreal superhuman state commits these three offenses.

Ceteti upakkamati muccati, āpatti saṅghādisesassa; ceteti upakkamati na muccati, āpatti thullaccayassa; payoge dukkaṭaṃ.
If one intends, endeavors, and discharges, one commits a saṅghādisesa offense; if one intends, endeavors, but does not discharge, one commits a thullaccaya offense; for the attempt, a dukkaṭa offense.

If, referring to the anus or urethra, one speaks praise or dispraise, one commits a saṅghādisesa offense; if, avoiding the anus and urethra, one refers to the area below the collarbone or above the kneecap and speaks praise or dispraise, one commits a thullaccaya offense; if, referring to something attached to the body, one speaks praise or dispraise, one commits a dukkaṭa offense.

If one speaks praise of service for one's own pleasure to a woman, one commits a saṅghādisesa offense; if to a paṇḍaka, one commits a thullaccaya offense; if to an animal, one commits a dukkaṭa offense.
