Thus indeed did these eighteen thousand royal maidens, bhikkhunīs led by Yasavatī, utter these verses in the presence of the Blessed One.

Itthaṃ sudaṃ yasavatīpamukhāni khattiyakaññābhikkhuniyo aṭṭhārasasahassāni bhagavato sammukhā imā gāthāyo abhāsitthāti.
Thus, eighteen thousand bhikkhunīs, led by Yasavatī and other noble maidens, recited these verses in the presence of the Blessed One.
Như vậy, mười tám ngàn Tỳ-khưu-ni là các công chúa dòng Sát-đế-lợi do Yasavatī đứng đầu đã nói những bài kệ này trước mặt Thế Tôn.
